The Rebels is a rock band formed on September 9th 2009. The band consists of Alex, vocalist, (lead singer), guitar; Alfredo,bass guitar; Juan Sebastian, drums. The three band members had initially been playing in several different bands for quite a number of years, especially in their own underground acts such as Sperm, Idioterne and The Suns. They decided to form a new lineup with a brand new setup stemming mainly from their passion for rock music. Nevertheless, once they start putting together their musical and vocal work they seem to take on whatever musical rhythm or beat that results, in which they eagerly delight. At the same time, they stick to the more frantically wild side of rock whose catchy refrains stay with you from the moment you take a listen.
Once the band kicks off their live shows, their solid, upbeat and heartily entertaining act shines through. They are releasing a demo CD this year sometime in 2010 to be named “OUT OF CONTROL” and later their debut album “WORLDMAKERS”, which has been recorded in L.A., Prague, and Madrid, and produced by Fran Gude and Javier Vidal, mixed by Fran Gude and mastered by Ted Jensen in N.Y.C.
